3 weeks later........
Gideon insisted he wanted an indoor traditional wedding, "I don't understand, why all this hiding is the money not there? Debbie asked.
"Is the money really there? Is there no life after your dream wedding? If I should spend it all to give you that flamboyant wedding you want, hope you'll like it if you'll stay hungry? Gideon asked.
"That's not possible, I refuse to believe this, Debbie said with a frown.
"Fine, then add your money. I am only doing what I can after all there will be a honey moon, do you know where we will be spending it? Gideon asked.
"Come to think of it, I've never asked you about it. Where is that? She asked.
"You see, you were only busy satisfying people eyes forgetting about yourself. We'll be doing it at Dubai, he replied and her eyes bulged out.
"Wait wait, so you mean I'll be out of this country, like me Deborah will be at Dubai for my honey moon right? She asked.
"Simple English, Gideon replied and she screamed hugging him.
"You're a darling, now I know why you are making everything nice and simple. Thank you, she said kissing him.
"That's better, now don't question my decision again, its all for our good, Gideon said and she nodded.
2 days later the traditional wedding was carried out indoor while the next day was the church wedding which was carried out on the beach.
It was a simple one with less people who attended which Debbie didn't bother, after all her honey moon will be at Dubai.
On their wedding day Veronica visited Princess who finally returned back to her husband place.
"I thought you'll be at Gideon wedding today, Princess said and Veronica sighed which Princess burst out laughing.
"I really don't know what's wrong with that boy, he's just wasting money for nothing and his parents are not even aware of this madness, Veronica replied.
"Hmm I pity that girl o, with all the mouth she always running she'll be meeting the real deal with Gideon. I am beginning to wonder how devastated she'll be when it gets to her notice that all of that was fake, Princess replied.
"That girl is dumb and is stupid when money is involved, don't tell me she didn't see the green light warning her but she chose to ignore. I wish her a happy married life but not our type abeg, Veronica said and Princess laughed and suddenly felt like throwing up.
"Is there a problem? Veronica asked seeing the way she behaved but Princess ran inside instead which Veronica confusedly followed her.
"You're throwing up? When did this start? Veronica asked feeling her neck.
"This morning, I woke up with it and pains around my waist, Princess replied.
"Really? Veronica asked looking at her making Princess more worried.
"Is there a problem sis? Princess asked.
"Let's go, Veronica said holding her hand and they drove out together.
They arrived at a hospital and Princess smiled at that, "sis you always worry too much, I'm sure its nothing serious, Princess said.
"I didn't say so, oya let's go in, Veronica said opening the door.
Getting in Veronica whispered something into the doctor ears, "is it possible we will get the result today? Veronica asked loud.
"Yes but not immediately, he replied and a nurse approached them.
"OK ma go with her, the doctor said to Princess who confusedly went with the nurse blank.
"What if it doesn't come out positive? Don't get your hope too high, the doctor said to Veronica.
"Doctor I am very sure it is the one, I'm a mother myself remember, She replied.
"Well the result will say it all, the doctor said.
"Can you please do me a favour to call telling me the result? We won't stay to get it, Veronica said.
"Alright I'll do that, the doctor replied..................
That afternoon Veronica was at home preparing lunch for her kids when a call came on her phone, "yes doctor good afternoon, she picked up.
"Afternoon ma, the result of the test is out. And yes you were right, she's 1 month pregnant. You can drop by to get the result yourself, the doctor dropped and Veronica let go of her phone as her eyes welled up with tears.
"Congrats my love, you need to hear this, Veronica said and hurriedly left the house..............
Though Rachel was put in jail, Desmond parents still didn't like the idea of him not taking another lady for a wife.
For a while Princess thought that case was over but Desmond mom visited that afternoon bringing it up again which Desmond objected her decision.
"I won't make that mistake again mom, that mistake almost killed my loving wife and i won't risk it anymore. Mom I'll adopt a child for ourselves, Desmond dropped and his mom angrily looked at him.
"Like you are impotent or something? She asked.
"My wife isn't barren too, we both are medically sound what do you want us to do? Desmond asked and they heard a horn at the gate.
"I won't tolerate any visitor now that we are having such an important discussion now, his mom said.
"Mom there's nothing to talk about here, I can't bring in another woman into this house I'm sorry, Desmond said and she angrily looked at Princess who was quiet all this while.
"Is that all you've been feeding my son with? Are you not ashamed of yourself you'll be adopting a child when your mates are giving birth? She asked.
"Mom that's enough please, you have to respect my wife, Desmond said.
"will you shut up! How dare you talk to me that way because of this thing! His mom shouted.
"Erm excuse me ma, I'll go meet my friend outside, princess said and left immediately with her eyes full with tears.
She ran out and met Veronica coming out of her car but she fell on her shoulders shedding tears.
"Hey what's wrong? Veronica held her back.
"My frustrations are back, I thought I had escaped it for a while Now. Sometimes I wish my mom was still alive......."hey hey hey just hold it there, let's go in, Veronica said and held her inside and met Desmond arguing with his mother.
"Sorry for interrupting, but i come with good news here just like the angel did to Mary. Enough calling my friend a barren woman, she's carrying a baby! Veronica dropped bringing out the test result for all to see.
Desmond got it from her and saw it was positive and he looked at Princess who stood shock.
"Honey you're carrying a baby? You mean you are pregnant? Desmond asked with tears in his eyes and Princess fainted.....................
That evening Debbie and Gideon got in,
"Finally honey its over, we are married now! She shouted when they got home.
"Yes we are, Gideon said going to the room with a sad look.
"What's wrong? You don't look happy why? She asked.
"I am just tired that's all, in fact I'll be back, there's something I need to check, he said and went out immediately before Debbie could say anything.
"Oh my God what's this? What's the meaning of this? Gideon! She shouted but he drove his car out...............

Episode 29.
Princess has been quiet for quite a lot of time saying nothing to anybody after she was made conscious.
Her mother in law was just lost for words as she couldn't believe the whole turn up of the story and was so ashamed to talk to her.
"Baby you eat na, you've not said anything for hours now and you're making us scared, Veronica said keeping a tray of food in front of her but Princess only shook her head.
"Do you know you are carrying a baby? What's all this? Her Pastor asked but Princess sniffed and Desmond walked in.
"Honey you haven't eaten yet? He asked sitting close to her but she didn't respond.
"What are we going to do now? I don't know if this is part of shock or what I don't understand, Veronica said.
"Just let her be, she'll come around tomorrow. But please don't forget to eat I'm begging you, I'll take my leave now, Her pastor said but she still said nothing.
"I'll drop you off please, thanks for everything, Desmond said and escorted him out.
"Honey you know I have to go now, I left my kids for hours and i have to be there, Veronica said but she only nodded.
"Please try and eat okay, I'll check up on you tomorrow, Veronica said and slowly left too while Princess laid on the bed shedding tears..........

Gideon called Kemi up to meet him somewhere as he drove out.
Reaching there he helped himself with some bottles of alcohols as he waited for her.
Few minutes later she arrived and sat down facing him saying nothing.
"How are you feeling? I didn't see you there why? He asked.
"See me where? So I can watch you exchange vows with another lady? She asked.
"Are we still talking about this? He asked.
"Yes Gideon and we will continue to talk about this. How will your parents reacts when they hear of this? Kemi asked.
"Kemi please don't start, there's no big deal in this, he said.
"Yes there is, this revenge is just too far and serious for carrying out loud please end this already! Kemi shouted.
"I won't not until she learns her lesson, do you know how much I hate her? Don't worry this will be over soon and I didn't call you here to talk about Debbie but us. Let's go home, he said.
"Home? Which home? Kemi asked.
"Your house of course, I just want to make her suffer, Gideon replied.
"Oh please I wont be part of this revenge stuff okay, just take me out of this, Kemi said.
"Okay find I'll go home then to my wife, looks like you don't miss me and you don't mind if I'll spend the night with her. You know what that means right? Gideon asked.
"But this is not fair, this is not fair at all, Kemi said as Gideon phone was ringing and it was Debbie calling.
"Common let's go home, he said holding Kemi up.................
The next day Gideon arrived home and the face Debbie gave him when she opened the door was terrible, "where did you go to all night? She asked immediately.
"Excuse me? Why should you know of my every movement? He asked.
"Can you listen to yourself? What's the meaning of all this Gideon? For Christ sake we just got married and its expected we should spend the night together as man and wife but you left me all at home to where? Gideon to where! She shouted.
"Now this should be the first and the last time you will ever raise your voice on me, don't try that next time! I can do whatever I want and I can sleep wherever I want and you have no right to question me. Who cares about marriage and who says ill be held bondage in it either? Was that part of the vows? Gideon shouted back.
"I can't believe its you saying this to me, what has come over you? I mean What happened to you? Debbie asked with tears in her eyes.
"Oh let's just say you never knew me, that's the main reason you should get to know someone before you rush to say yes I do. That's your mistake so live with it, excuse me, Gideon said and left for the room leaving Debbie looking at him mouth open.
"No no no, that wasn't the man I married, Jesus no! Debbie screamed out.
Minutes later Gideon came out refreshed and dressed up ready to go out, "don't tell me you're leaving again? She asked getting up from where she sat.
"Looks like you are blind, as you can I am already on my way out, he replied.
"But but its a Sunday and I thought we should go out together, she said.
"Go out to where? He asked.
"To church of course, she replied and he scoffed.
"Do i look like a church fan? Wait so you go to church? He asked.
"Why are you behaving like this? You're making me scared already please just tell me the wrong I've done and I'll apologize. Don't do this to me I'm begging you, Debbie said.
"Deborah, you are married to me just as you wanted, isn't that enough? Please I have no time for this okay, see you later, he said and wanted to leave.
"But can you at least take your breakfast? I quickly got that prepared........... "I've already eaten okay thanks, he cut her short and left and a tear dropped from her eyes.
"Who is doing this to me? Which village people is responsible for this nah! Debbie shouted and thought of informing her mom about this but then she remembered her mom already washed her hands and legs off every business in her marriage. She thought of calling Prisca but got ashamed she may laugh at her, she ended up crying to herself thinking of what to do.
"But he loves me, I was sure of that now what is going on? She asked herself................
Gideon arrived at his friend place and they all cheered at him when he entered, "guy I tap in this your marriage grace o. But how was the night, you been hammer well ba? I no say you go hammer wicked wicked, Charles said laughing.
"Hammer what! I went to my babe rather and did the real deal, the idiot was there expecting me at home in the name of man and wife rubbish, Gideon replied.
"Eiya i can feel her pain, Daniel replied.
"Whatever. But Daniel priest fit you die o, I didn't know you have the calling o, Gideon said and they burst out laughing.
"Me sef weak when i saw myself on the rope. You know my staying with a priest was not a waste na, at least it served a purpose, Daniel replied.
"You guys really tried well for me, everything looked perfect for the idiot. Her shock has not started yet, i am waiting for her to remind me of the Dubai honey moon, Gideon said and they burst out laughing.
"Your father by now will be wondering which university of wickedness you graduated from, Golden said.........

Episode 30.
"Good morning darling, Desmond said pecking Princess on the cheek as she woke.
"Good morning, she replied.
"Breakfast is prepared, you just go in there, get refreshed and meet me downstairs okay, Desmond said.
"You shouldn't have done that, Princess said.
"Its nothing common, after all I got help from My mother, Desmond said and Princess was surprised.
"Tell me you're joking, she said.
"Honey I know she has hurt your feelings several times, can you please forgive her? He calmly asked touching her.
"Its fine, she just wanted a grandchild and I understand. After all we all need forgiveness, Princess said.
"Thanks darling, so I'll be waiting downstairs for you okay, Desmond said and pecked her.
Minutes later she went down and met her mother in law, "mommy good morning, Princess greeted but she nodded with her head face down.
"Mommy she's greeting, Desmond said to her but Princess went closer and sat beside her.
"Mommy you don't have to feel bad for anything,I wasn't angry with you either. Our joy is now complete and I think everyone should be happy, Princess said with her hand crossed on her shoulder smiling which she looked at her.
"I feel so ashamed now, she said.
"No its okay mommy, thanks for the meal, it looks very delicious, Princess said laughing.
"Oh common let's eat, she said taking Princess to the dinning.
The pastor visited and was happy to see Princess in such joyful mood with Everyone.
"You made us scared yesterday, he said.
"Daddy I'm so sorry, I was just sober, sober that I doubted God and didn't believe wholly on him. When I saw the test, I didn't know what to do but cry God should have mercy on me, Princess replied.
"So indeed in your unbelief God still visited, remember you told me that, Veronica said.
"Yes he did, and I'm so grateful, Princess said.
"OK I think its time to break the news now officially, Miracle will be going to church! Veronica dropped and Princess screamed happily.
"Awwnn that good news, we will all be there for our baby, Desmond said...............
Lying on the floor crying her eyes out, Debbie phone began to ring. Seeing it was Prisca calling she cleaned her eyes and tried putting herself together, "yes dear good morning, Debbie picked up.
"Good morning, I called to know why the latest couple didn't go to church, Prisca said and Debbie laughed.
"We wanted to but you see the night was so busy and ermmm.... You should understand, Debbie said and Prisca smiled at that.
"Its alright then, Prisca said.
"I think I'll see you later today, since i really don't know when I will be travelling, Debbie said.
"Thats no problem, bye, Prisca said and dropped the call.
Debbie heaved and got up from the floor dialling her husband number but he wasn't picking up then she dialed her mom number.
"Deborah how are you? Sandra asked.
"If I didn't call you wouldn't have asked ba? Wait o are you on the road? Debbie asked.
"Yes na, what should i do there? Sandra asked.
"You mean you are going back to the village? Haba mommy I just got married yesterday and you're already leaving the next day without even seeing me, Debbie said.
"Ahh you have married na so what remain again? Abi you want orientation on how to live in your husband house? Am I married? Didn't you said I don't know anything about marriage? So my dear I am going back to the village o, enjoy your married life, Sandra said.
"Hey God, so the hotel I booked for you at least for a week you've gone now wasting my money huh? Debbie asked.
"Deborah I cannot die in cold with all the grass they have been feeding me with. What should I do there for a week sef? Sandra asked.
"At least to see me off at the airport na haba its not fair! Why are you not always happy for me! Debbie shouted.
"See eh, I have done my own part as a mother or if I don't follow you to the airport will the visa expire? Sandra asked and Debbie saw Gideon car drove in.
"You're so annoying bye, Debbie said and dropped the call going outside to meet him.
Gideon came out from the car on call and passed Debbie which she couldn't say anything to him but watched him go in which she did too.
"Any food? He asked after dropping the call.
"Food? Did you ask me to prepare food or did you tell me what you'll love to eat? Debbie asked and Gideon smiled.
"When you were doing good girlfriend here, when have you ever asked me what i want to eat? He asked.
"That's because you were a good and loving boyfriend too. What has come over you? Debbie asked.
"Look here young lady, if you are not comfortable with the me now, you can take your leave, Gideon said and suddenly made another call.
"What are you trying to say now! Debbie shouted but he left the house again immediately.
Debbie couldn't take it anymore, she dressed up and thought of reporting him to his parents but she decided not to,She went to Prisca instead.
Prisca heard the "congratulations" going outside and saw it was Debbie, "you really look good, Cynthia said.
"Thank you, Debbie replied.
"I know you'll be leaving soon for your honey moon, awwwn Dubai will look so good on you, Another said but Debbie only smiled.
"Thanks for your presence there, I really appreciate. Is Prisca in? Debbie asked.
"Yes i think so, they replied.
"Alright bye and thanks again, Debbie said and left while Prisca opened the door.
"Are you here to pick your remaining bags? prisca asked as she walked in.
"Are you driving me already? Ah abeg o, Debbie said sitting down while Prisca looked at her.
"Were you crying? Don't tell me the night was that rough, Prisca said and Debbie heaved.
"Saying it was rough is an understatement, She replied.
"Oh my God! You are making me scared now, please stop that, Prisca said and Debbie suddenly lost the guts to say what she came for.
"Not that way but it was instead fun, you need to be there soon you know, Debbie said.
"Yea yea i know i will at God time, so gist me, how is life after wedding? Prisca asked and Debbie rolled her eyes.
"I'm just few hours in it nau Prisca, Debbie replied.
"Actually its a day now and I know you'll have something to tell me. So I'm all ears, Prisca insisted.
"OK what can i say now..... The feeling after wedding is just so good, i mean the happiness, the oneness and everything is just so perfect, Debbie said and Prisca nodded.
"That sounds sweet, congratulations once again at least you won't waka waka again, Prisca said and Debbie burst out laughing...............
She left Prisca place disappointed she can't share her feelings, she left rather to a drinking parlor and made herself company with alcohols.
In the evening she strolled back home and met Gideon wait in for her with a stern look while she walked in drunk.
"Where are you coming back from? He asked.
"What do you care? Debbie replied but got a slap from Gideon.
"When next I ask a question, you'll give me the right answer! Now where are you coming back from! Gideon shouted on her...................
