   Insert a matches stick into yam and it will stay longer without spoiling.

Got home at midnight, worked a bit more and slept only a few hours this dawn. 


Hungry; I am cooking my yam breakfast. The last yam meal was a fortnight ago.


I inserted the matches stick into this yam six weeks ago. This is my third and last eat. It’s still fresh.


I learnt this when i was doing my national service.


Stop freezing Yam.
