When dissolving the raw Pap with cold water add a little bit of water and stir be careful inorder not to make it look watery
No2: then boil your water don't boil for too long so that it will not make the pap has gallop when preparing, even if you boil the water to be too hot bring it down and wait for like 3mins before pouring it inside the pad
No3: when preparing the pap continue to stir till you feel the thickness of the pap then you are good to go.
Common reasons why your akamu is always watery:
You did not pour enough hot water. Lots of people due to fear, often do not add enough hot water. When you start adding hot water, the mix will get watery before it thickens, that's the great science of akamu. So let go of fear and make sure you add enough hot water.
